On Day 3 of Economist Impact Events’ Asia Trade Week LFX Digital CEO Ed Lam was part of a panel discussing how Asia’s SMEs can take advantage of digital transformation and the considerations they have to weigh in to balance costs for longer-term payoffs from digitalization.
“Most SMEs are keenly focused on growing their topline, so they may have less flexibility in dealing with costs, particularly when it comes to investing in digital solutions. The key is to analyze and look closely at what aspects of their business can be digitalized first, to give them the most bang for their buck,” said Ed.
He was joined by OECD – OCDE’s Marco Bianchini and Shopify’s Shaun Broughton. Moderating the discussion was Economist Impact’s Michael Frank.
